John come kiss me now

This is the second Carpe Diem release (October 2008) featuring the ensemble La Beata Olanda, which unfortunately does not exist in this form anymore. I recorded the CD together with my dear colleague Johannes Wallbrecher in the Klosterkirche Auhausen in southern Germany, a huge and beautiful church with intriguing acoustics and a very warm and positive atmosphere. The last track of the CD featured a spontaneous collaboration with a local weatherstorm and heavy rain, which was clearly audible in the church, so we made it part of the interpretation of the music instead of waiting for it to go away. Most beautiful rain. (JN) http://ow.ly/xKHPX
